Our cath lab was recently re-equipped with state of the art imaging and phsysiology equipment.

Diagnostic and interventional procedures are predominantly cardiac (80%) with the balance being peripheral cases (20%).

Generally our cases are elective but we also take acute admissions and deal with in-patients if it becomes apparent that they need angiography.

Our clinical team has a core of four specialist interventional nurses, two radiographers and three cardiac technologists, joined by cardiologists, radiologists and vascular surgeons.

Staffing: Cath Lab operates Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, and staff are rostered on-call outside these hours.
