Post Graduate Certificate

Wakefield Hospital was a partner in founding the Post Graduate Certificate in Peri-operative Speciality Nursing with Medtra (a nurse-led training agency) and the Whitireia Community Polytechnic School of Nursing in 2000. The programme is accredited at Level 8 of the NZQA Framework and is designed to prepare RNs for specialty practice in their specific environment. The Certificate is the equivalent of two papers, which means that your options are open to complete a Diploma or Masters of Nursing degree.
