Undergraduate training at Otago Medical School. Postgraduate training at the University of
Toronto, Canada. Joined faculty of University of Toronto for 3years. Returned to New Zealand to work
as a Senior Lecturer at the Wellington School of Medicine (Otago University). Appointed Professor of
Surgery, Wellington, in 1990. Special interests: Hip and knee joint replacement with particular
emphasis on problem cases.
Research interests include hip and knee arthroplasty but also extend
to research related to hip fractures. |
