Wakefield Heart Centre

The Heart Centre is a specialist centre for the investigation and management of patients with cardiac and chest diseases, both congenital and acquired. It's mission is to provide a comprehensive high quality cardiac service in a private setting. The range of services includes:

Special expertise in minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery, and off pump (beating heart) coronary bypass surgery.

Acute cardiac service with direct referral from General Practitioners

Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme

A six week educational programme for patients and their families following acute myocardial infarction, angioplasty, coronary artery bypass surgery or if you have a family history of heart disease and may be at risk of developing heart disease.

Programme details

Venue: Seminar Room, Level One, Wakefield Hospital.
Time: Monday evening 5.15 - 6.30pm.
(When you book you will be advised about the dates of your programme).
Light refreshments will be served.
Cost: $100 (incl GST) for 6 sessions.
