Wakefield Health to “future proof” its facilities
Private hospital company, Wakefield Health Limited, is reviewing its facilities in Wellington and Hastings to “future proof” them for the next 20 to 30 years.
“First on the list is Wakefield Hospital in Newtown,” said the company’s chief executive, Andrew Blair.

“The Minister of Health, the Hon. Tony Ryall today (4pm) officially opened The Bowen Centre, Bowen Hospital, Wellington. Construction of the 5 level 3,300m₂ expansion to Bowen Hospital commenced in October 2009 and has been progressively occupied since the end of last year.
